I. RESIDENTIAL LIMITED WARRANTY

To the Original Purchaser Only

1. Limited Warranty Coverage

The Dock Ledge Inc. warrants to the original purchaser ("Purchaser") that the Product will be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal residential use for the following periods from the date of original retail purchase (the "Warranty Period"):

If a defect covered by this Limited Warranty is discovered during the Warranty Period, The Dock Ledge Inc.'s obligation shall be limited to, at its sole discretion: repairing the defective Product, replacing the defective Product with a new or refurbished Product, or issuing a credit for the original purchase price. THIS LIMITED WARRANTY IS THE SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDY FOR THE PURCHASER.

3. Exclusions (What is NOT Covered)

This Limited Warranty does not cover damage or product failure resulting from:

a. Improper Installation, Use, or Maintenance: Failure to use or maintain the Product in accordance with instructions.

b. Normal Wear and Tear: Including, but not limited to, scratches, fading, or minor cosmetic damage.

c. Misuse, Neglect, or Abuse: Including overloading or modification.

d. Environmental Factors/Acts of God: Damage caused by severe weather, natural disasters, vandalism, collision, or ice.

e. Commercial Use: Products used in commercial, rental, resort, camp, or institutional applications are not covered by this Residential Limited Warranty.

4. Mandatory Product Registration

To activate and maintain the full Residential Limited Warranty Period, the Purchaser must register the Product online at https://thedockledge.com/pages/warranty-registration within thirty (30) days of the original date of purchase.

• The Dock Ledge: Failure to register within the thirty (30) day period will VOID this Limited Warranty entirely.
  

II. COMMERCIAL USE LIMITED WARRANTY

To the Original Commercial Purchaser Only

WARNING: THIS WARRANTY IS FOR BUSINESS USE (E.G., RESORTS, CAMPS, MARINAS) AND PROVIDES DIFFERENT, SHORTER TERMS THAN A RESIDENTIAL WARRANTY.

The Dock Ledge Inc. warrants to the original business or entity (the "Commercial Purchaser") that the Product will be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal commercial use for the following periods from the date of original retail purchase:

If a covered defect is confirmed by The Dock Ledge Inc., the Commercial Purchaser's sole and exclusive remedy is limited to, at The Dock Ledge Inc.'s discretion: repair, replacement, or credit for the original purchase price. The Commercial Purchaser is responsible for all costs associated with the removal, transportation, and reinstallation of any repaired or replaced Product.

3. Commercial Use Exclusions

This warranty does not cover damage or failure resulting from:

a. Excessive Traffic or Overloading: Damage due to usage that exceeds the recommended weight limit or consistent high-impact use.

b. Vandalism, Neglect, or Abuse by customers, guests, or unauthorized personnel.

c. Environmental Factors/Acts of God (including severe weather or ice).

d. Improper Installation, Use, or Maintenance in a commercial setting.

4. Mandatory Product Registration

To validate this Commercial Use Limited Warranty, the Commercial Purchaser MUST register the Product online at https://thedockledge.com/pages/warranty-registration within thirty (30) days of the original date of purchase. Failure to register within this timeframe will VOID this Limited Warranty in its entirety (for both The Dock Ledge and The Dock Ledge Pro).To validate this Commercial Use Limited Warranty, the Commercial Purchaser MUST register the Product online at [Your Website Registration Link] within thirty (30) days of the original date of purchase. Failure to register within this timeframe will VOID this Limited Warranty in its entirety.

III. GENERAL WARRANTY TERMS (Applicable to Both)

5. Obtaining Warranty Service: Contact The Dock Ledge Inc. at 647-313-7970 or hello@thedockledge.com and provide written notice of the defect, the original dated proof of purchase, and successful registration ID.

6. Limitation of Liability: IN NO EVENT SHALL The Dock Ledge Inc. BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, PUNITIVE, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF REVENUE, OR DAMAGE TO OTHER PROPERTY (SUCH AS WATERCRAFT OR DOCKS). In all cases, The Dock Ledge Inc.'s liability shall be limited to the original purchase price paid for the defective product.

7. Disclaimer of Implied Warranties: The Dock Ledge Inc. DISCLAIMS ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

8. Non-Transferable: This Limited Warranty extends only to the original Purchaser and is not transferable.

9. Governing Law: This warranty is governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario.
